German Intensive Courses (A1-C1)
Our intensive courses on levels A1 to C1 give you a quick and successful introduction to the German language and culture. Our dedicated and qualified German trainers teach you in a lively and communicative way. Through our personal attention and our small learning groups, you will train the four skills of reading, listening, speaking and writing, and of course grammar in particular effectively and intensively.
Our German intensive courses at a glance
- One level at TANDEM Hamburg takes 8 weeks of study.
- Our intensive courses have 20 lessons per week
- Course times are Monday to Friday from 09:30 - 12:45 p.m. (occasionally from 2:00 - 5:15 p.m.)
- Our courses begin every 4 weeks. You can start at any time after a placement test and a free trial lesson
- Meet and chat: 2 regulars' table meetings in a pub every month
- Hybrid participation is also possible (except at A1 level)
- Our intensive German courses are recognized for the granting of a language course visa in Germany.
- Upon request we organize accommodation for the duration of your language course
- TANDEM level test after each language level reached
- Courses may be combined with individual tuition at a special reduced price (also possible as educational leave Bildungsurlaub)

Course fees
- 20 lessons of 45 minutes per week
- 5 to 10 participants (occasionally up to 15)
- Monday to Friday from 09:30 - 12:45 p.m. (occasionally from 2:00 - 5:15 p.m.)
- ATTENTION: From 29.7.-20.9.24 the courses for levels A1, A2 and C1 will take place in the afternoon from 2 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
- meet and chat: 2 regulars' table meetings in a pub every month
- Participation also possible on a hybrid basis
- Options: telc Deutsch A1, B1, B2, C1 Hochschule exams

Intensive Plus
- Individual lessons of your choice in addition to the group course
- Minimum duration 90 minutes per appointment
- May also be booked as educational leave (Bildungsurlaub)
