Accommodation for participants in our intensive German courses and visa courses
We organise accommodation for participants aged 18 and over in our intensive German courses and visa preparation courses in single rooms, either self-catering or with breakfast included, with German host families.
Whether you are staying with a single host or a family: Our hosts warmly welcome international German learners. The accommodation also offers you the opportunity to practise your German skills in everyday life outside the language course.
The facilities are functional yet cosy; towels are provided, and the washing machine can be used by arrangement. The bathroom and kitchen are shared with the hosts. The room is available to you from the Sunday before the course starts until the Saturday after the course ends. All accommodation is easily accessible by public transport, so you can get to your German course with ease.
Good to know: We want you to feel at home in your accommodation whilst attending your German course in Hamburg, which is why we inspect all rooms personally and maintain close contact with our hosts.

INFO: Accommodation for longer than 3 months
If you wish to stay in Hamburg for longer than three months, you are required to register your Hamburg accommodation address at the Residents' Registration Office (Einwohnermeldeamt). In Hamburg, the customer centres of the individual districts are in charge of this. In this case, we recommend that you organise your own accommodation. Unfortunately, we only have a few landlords who allow you to register at their address.
