A participant writes a telc Deutsch C1 - Hochschule exam at TANDEM Hamburg

This examination tests university-related German language skills at a highly advanced level. It is aimed at all those who wish to study at a German-speaking university and need to prove their German language skills.


The TELC C1-Hochschule certificate is recognised by all German colleges and universities.

  • Examination fee for external participants: € 205.00
  • Examination fee for participants in our intensive and evening course: € 195.00
  • Unless otherwise stated, the exam takes place on Fridays and Saturdays at TANDEM Hamburg. The written part starts at 2:00 pm on the first day of the exam. The oral examination takes place in the morning on the following day.
  • The written part lasts approx. 200 minutes (plus a break of 20 minutes); the oral part lasts between 16 and 24 minutes (plus 20 minutes preparation)

The small print: Cancelling your exam

If you cancel before the registration deadline, we will refund the examination fee minus a processing fee of € 50.00. A later cancellation is not possible. Exception: If you fall ill on the day of the exam, please inform us immediately by email to info@tandem-hamburg.de and submit a medical certificate within 3 days. In this case, we will refund the examination fee minus a processing fee of € 50.00.

 

After the exam: Collecting your exam results

After approx. 3-4 weeks you can collect your exam results from us - please check our website (see above) to see if they have arrived.


For data protection reasons, we do not give information by telephone as to whether an examination has been passed or not.

You must collect your test result from us in person and bring your ID with you. If you are unable to collect your test result in person, you can also authorize someone else to collect your test result for you. In this case, please write a  Letter of Authorisation  for this person.
