Accommodation Options in Hamburg

We want our students to feel at home in Hamburg. Accommodation is therefore chosen carefully, making sure all required standards are met and the places are comfortable and not too far from the school – a maximum of 30 minutes travel time on foot, by bike or by public transport. We have a great number of landlords and landladies who have been supplying private lodgings for years – you will enjoy your stay with them.

You can choose from the following options:

 

Private Accommodation, self-catering

Speak German not just at school; meet German people at home. You live with Germans, sometimes families, sometimes flat sharers, often single people who have a spare room. You have your own room and share kitchen and bathroom with them. Students cater for themselves, either by contributing to the budget or by shopping for themselves.

Private Accommodation bed & breakfast

As above; on top of breakfast is included; often this will mean that the students help themselves to the food, as their hosts have jobs and will be out of the house earlier than them.

Private accommodation half board

Have two meals a day with a host family and enjoy the opportunity to experience and practice the German language even more. This option should be booked well in advance of travelling and is an option especially for younger and not so experienced students.
