German Language Classes for Hamburg Residents

This offer of TANDEM Hamburg is especially for participants who live here. Their participation is in some cases funded or subsidised by regional or national authorities.

The fees mentioned here are operative for all people living in the region who come to the office for counselling and a placement test, and who make their booking directly at the language school.

German course details

* Groups: 4 - 10 participants
* Schedule: Monday to Friday: 10.00 am - 01.15 pm or 01.45 pm - 05.00 pm
* Courses: Standard Courses include 20 and Intensive Courses 24 lessons of 45 minutes each per week.
* Levels: A1 (Beginner), A2 (Elementary); B1 (Intermediate), B2 (Upper Intermediate), C1 (Advanced 1), C2 (Advanced 2).
* July and August: an extensive cultural programme accompanies your class.

Our preparation classes - as a crash course (CK) or an evening course (AK) - prepare you best for the examination. Including a mock exam. Crash Course (CK): From 5 stud., 2 weeks, Mon-Fri 2.00 - 5.15 p.m., dates dd/mm/yyyy Evening Course (AK): From 5 stud., 6 weeks, Mon, Tue, Fri 6.00 - 8.30 p.m., dates dd/mm/yyyy The course price for the CK course (40 hrs.) is € 300.00 including materials. For the AK course (54 hrs.) we charge € 370.00 including materials. German Classes in the Evening in Hamburg 5 - 10 participants, two evenings per week from 6.00 - 7.30 or 7.30 - 9.00 p.m., 4 teaching hours of 45 mins. per week. Current Evening Classes   Single Tuition After a needs analysis and a placement test we will set up a programme that will fit your wishes and ideas. You choose the dates and the duration, and if you opt for the 'plus one' offer, you can bring a friend or colleague along and share the costs. Fees for Single Classes German Language Classes We offer intensive German classes, certificate courses (Zertifikat Deutsch, Mittelstufenprüfung and TestDaF), evening classes on business German, phonetics and spelling as well as weekend seminars on job application training. You will meet people from Europe, America, Africa, Asia, Australia, and of course us, the locals! Your TANDEM exchange partner will help you understand us better. Examination Centre for TestDaF / TELC TANDEM Hamburg is an accredited examination centre for TestDaF and TELC. TestDaF is a language test for foreign students applying for entry to an institution of higher education in Germany or wishing to continue their studies at a German institution of higher education.
