• Information for commercial claimants
• The German courts will probably put an end to the misuse of the law concerning professional claims: § 13 Abs. 5 UWG and § 2 Abs. 3 UKlaG rules that misuse of a cease-and-desist claim is forbidden, if for example a claim is noticeably made for the sole purpose of receiving claim costs. More information on the nuisance of the commercial claim trade can be found at www.heise.de and www.abmahnwelle.de.
• We point out that in cases of commercial claims we will seek legal advice, which may result in rebuff with costs, and that we may order a counter claim. For all costs resulting we reserve the right to claim absolute indemnity.
