At TANDEM Hamburg we have the language competence for your needs. We not only teach you how to say and write it in that other language, but of course, we can translate it for you too. Just send us your business letter, website, brochure or presentation, and those foreign texts you need to study in preparation for a conference, a manual for the new machine you've just bought, or any other text you may think of. |

Accommodation Options in Hamburg
• We want our students to feel at home in Hamburg. Accommodation is therefore chosen carefully, making sure all required standards are met and the places are comfortable and not too far from the school – a maximum of 30 minutes travel time on foot, by bike or by public transport.
• We have a great number of landlords and landladies who have been supplying private lodgings for years – you will enjoy your stay with them.
• Private Accommodation - self-catering
Speak German not just at school; meet German people at home. You live with Germans, sometimes families, sometimes flat sharers, often single people who have a spare room. You have your own room and share kitchen and bathroom with them. Students cater for themselves, either by contributing to the budget or by shopping for themselves.
• Private Accommodation - bed & breakfast
As above; on top of breakfast is included; often this will mean that the students help themselves to the food, as their hosts have jobs and will be out of the house earlier than them.
• Private Accommodation - half board
Have two meals a day with a host family and enjoy the opportunity to experience and practice the German language even more. This option should be booked well in advance of travelling and is an option especially for younger and not so experienced students.

If you would rather stay in hostel with a ***hotel quality and meet and get to know many mostly young folks from all over the world, then the "Meininger Hamburg-Altona" is your choice. Here in the trendy quarter Altona you will take a sniff of sea air and see the big city lights; a trip to the Reeperbahn and exploring the harbour and all the other highlights of the Hanseatic city are on offer. All that and more is available at just a short walking distance from TANDEM Hamburg.
